Log in and create or update your profile, and you'll be able to apply for the scholarships you're eligible for with just a few clicks. The Sargent Central Dollars for Scholars applications are due April 1.
Instructions to complete the Sargent Central Dollars for Scholars online application
The items listed below are required to complete the online Sargent Central Dollars for Scholars scholarship application. Please read carefully and follow instructions-which will help you complete the application successfully.
After all information has been entered, students will be required to click on MY SCHOLARSHIPS and choose Sargent Central Dollars for Scholars before you will be considered for that scholarship.
Start by clicking on Students and Parents tab of this website. Complete each step as follows:
Step 1. Create an account.
Step 2. Complete "my information" section (note: activities, employment, transcript, essay, and unusual circumstances sections will be scored):
- Basic information
- Additional information (Only the demographic information needs to be completed).
- Schools
- GPA
- Test Scores (Only the ACT/SAT scores need to be entered).
- Class Rank
- Other Financial Awards- not required
- Activities (Describe your activities. You will be scored on this section.)
- Employment (List your employment. You will be scored on this section.)
- Parents and Financial Information
Complete parent information, click request information from parent and enter their email address.
A parent must grant consent if you are under the age of 18. (You do not need to fill in financial information).
Important note: Completion of Financial Information is not required for the Sargent Central Dollars for Scholars scholarship, however, completion of this information may make you eligible for regional, state, and national scholarships through Scholarship America.
- Transcript/References, click request information from school representative and enter their email address.
- Goals and Aspirations Essay (You will be scored on this essay.)
- Unusual Circumstances (You will be scored on this essay.)
- Additional Documents- not required
Once you have completed the above steps, follow the instructions below to apply for the Sargent Central Dollars for Scholars scholarship.
Step 3. Click on MY SCHOLARSHIPS and then click on find new scholarships; you should see Sargent Central Dollars for Scholars Scholarship.
- Click add to my applications.
- Click on scholarship applications and submit App.
- To ensure that your application is complete, log back in to your account.
Check to see that the financial information (parent consent only needed for Sargent Central Dollars for Scholars scholarship), transcript information, and recommendation are submitted under "my information."
